Today's guest is doctor LaShelle Wimi, international best selling author. Get Out of God's Way. Get Out of Yourself and Step Boldly into the Purpose He Has For Your Life and Your Business. That's the title. That is so incredibly powerful.

And I wanna share with you guys that right before I hit the record button, Michelle said something so beautiful that I've and a guest has never said before. She said, I am just here to serve. I'm here to serve all the women today. That is so incredibly beautiful. She's also the host of the unstuck podcast.

Yes. Who isn't stuck? Like, we all get stuck all the time. Lishelle, you combine your expertise in brain science, quantum physics, and scripture to help you work alongside God to fulfill your divine purpose. I love this so much.

I also love how you tie scripture into things like quantum physics. So I wanna start right here. You were working in anesthesiology and you felt really stuck. Let's just start there. I just wanna say, first of all, like, thank you so much, Christina, for having me.

Like, you guys, I hope you realize how much of a blessing Christina is, and I'm just so honored to be part of your community today. And I wanna thank all of you guys for listening. And I'm just really excited to see what the Holy Spirit does to our conversation today, really. It's gonna be on fire for all of you today because I believe with all my heart that I am here to speak life into you. You are made for more.

You're made for bigger. This moment, this exact second, you are hearing this message because he's trying to speak to you. He's chasing you down. He's tapping on his shoulder. He's lighting a fire inside your heart that it is time to take action.

It's time to step in. It's time to lean in. And I gotta tell you guys, the fire that's inside of me was not there when I was working my 9 to 5. Now here's the deal. I felt that I was doing everything that I should do.

We should on ourselves all the time. I was supposed to get a good job. I was supposed to go to college. And what I found is that looking back, when I was doing all of those things, it was not necessarily because it was what I was supposed to do, but it was what I thought I should do. And once I started to discover and step into my authenticity, I started to come alive.

And that was completely surprised to me because I really did think that I was doing everything that I should do. And went to college. I got my master's then I made doctorate degree in anesthesia. I was teaching for one of the best nurse anesthesia programs in the world. I was working alongside these amazing world renowned surgeons, thinking that everything was just exactly the way it should be.

And then, Christina, I was introduced to starting an online business. Now this is what's so funny. Like, I love telling the story because I feel like you guys god is gonna speak to you in ways that are going to get your attention, and it doesn't always feel like it makes sense or it's what it happens for her or her or her. He uses what happens for you. So here's the deal.

Like, I'm gonna tell this story. I woke up one morning, Christina, and I looked in the mirror, and I noticed that my eyes looked really, like, baggy and wrinkly and tired. And I was just like, what the heck? Like, this happened overnight. And that little tiny thing led me to researching some big girl skincare.

Because at the point of doing this, I was literally washing my face with whatever random shampoo just happened to fall on it in the shower. Like, there was no deliberate action in this. Then what happened is because I'm cheap, I leaned in, and the lady who was telling me about the skincare that she was using, she was like, you know, you can get this for a discount and maybe even make a little extra money if you wanna just tell people about, you know, what you're using. I didn't have a flipping clue what I was doing. I had no market.

I had no network. If you didn't, like, know my mom and I didn't know your mom, like, you didn't even need to be in my Facebook group. And I never posted anything other than, like, the random TobyMac quote. So it's not like I was really hiding anything anyway. But I was so afraid of being seen.

I didn't have any experience at all, and I was new to washing my face. Like, I was a big girl with, like, no experience in this at all. And when I look back at pictures this is what's interesting, Christina. When I look back at pictures, I looked tired and those bags had been there for years. Wow.

But that day, God used that specific thing to set me into motion, and it worked. And so just allowing ourselves to not put ourselves in a box and to not think it should be a certain way, but just be like, okay, Lord, speak to me in the way that I'm going to hear you and then help me to lean in with courage to where you want me to go. Right. Beautiful. And so I started this business and because I was cheap, I just wanted a discount.

But then I was introduced to personal development and I was introduced to the application of leadership. So you guys, likely aren't seeing this video, but behind me are all of the books. I'm such a nerd. I love to read, and a huge section of these books are all on leadership. And it started to recognize, like, holy crap.

Like, I can actually lead people on my terms. I get a chance to execute the things I'm learning, And it doesn't matter what title I have. It doesn't matter what degrees I have. It doesn't matter, you know, what job role I have. I get to choose how I execute this.

That realization that I got a chance to to use what I was learning on my terms was like this light bulb because I didn't even know that that existed. And I started in a little bit more, and I started to recognize, like, oh my gosh. He has given me talents and tools to teach, to communicate, to draw potential out of people that I wasn't even aware of or utilizing. And once I started to discover that I had these strengths and I had these talents and I had these desires that I didn't even know were there, and I started to execute them, it was literally like my soul started to come alive. And I talk about it.

It's like this fire in your belly that's so strong that it creeps up past your heart and into your throat. It's like it scares the crap out of you, but it also excites you at the same time. That's where I was. And I started to just feel like, oh my gosh, this is a part of me that I didn't even know existed. I started to light up.

The other thing that happened during this this time was the realization. And this is really hard for me to admit, but the realization is that I hadn't been neglecting washing my face because I was lazy. Like, granted, I am lazy sometimes. But if I had to be really honest with myself, it was because I did not see myself worthy enough of spending the Wow. And I think I think, LaShelle, that that is such a common issue with women.

Yeah. And so I was like, oh, ouch. You know, I started to recognize that. And it was like, it wasn't even I know I just I described it just like washing my face change my life. And I say that because I started to, all of a sudden, carry myself in a way that was worthy of the time and the money that I was spending on myself.

And that alone started to change the way that I thought, and it started to change the way that I viewed myself as the daughter of the king rather than the person that should do all the things and that was measuring my worth against all of the achievements that I had in my professional life. The other thing that that realization did for me when I started my online business was realize that there was something called the and life. And I think that a lot of us can get stuck in this either or black and white all or nothing mentality. Maybe it's just me, but I I think that a lot of the people I talk to can relate to that. And I felt like I had to choose between either being a fulfilled professional on fire for inspiration woman or a present mom and wife.

And when I was introduced to this business, it was this realization that I get to execute my leadership. I get to serve. I get to ex suit a customer service at the higher level than what I can even do in my professional job. I get to do that and feel challenged by learning new things and be fulfilled and use my creativity and create the time and financial freedom to be a more present mom and wife. And once I recognized that it was even possible, I'm like, alright.

I have to lean into this and I have to help other people do the same. And that was really what led me on this journey of knowing in my bones that God has a plan for all of us, you guys, even bigger than our shoulds, even bigger than our plans. I was living my dream life by all standards and my own levels of success, but he had a plan even bigger than what I can dream. And when I decided to lean into that, even though I didn't have a network, even though I had no flipping fluid, I was doing, even though I was new to washing my face, I leaned in anyway. And when I did, I discovered these talents.

I discovered these passion. I discovered ways to be a bigger impact in the world. And it lit me up. And I just want all of you guys to know that when you do the same, when you lean into those tiny little nudges, he has this big, beautiful plan beyond anything that you could ask for yourself. You just have to lean in and take that first step and then discover what you're capable of each additional step in the way.

We did a podcast, and Dave talked from the heart about his daughter who has been in this journey with us even though she's not present with us. She's been in this journey with us since since we started. Yep. And I think what holds a lot of women back, I find, is fear. I've been listening to you talk and kinda trying to figure you out a little bit because, you know, you're very successful now.

You are doing a lot of things. And I think that what really helped you overcome your fear was your faith. You really leaned into your faith. That's one thing. I wanna ask you a question about this because I'm actually in the middle of a a little course with Mel Robbins right now.

Robbins. And we all have to do a 30 day project. And so many people in the class are very stuck. You know, and you have a podcast called, you know, Unstuck. So they're stuck because they have so much fear, and they're trying to literally push the fear entirely away.

They're saying, oh, no. I have fear, so therefore, I can't even take a step. And I've literally been writing back to people in the group and saying, you know, you guys, I started a podcast and a few months ago, and what I've learned is you feel the fear and you do it anyway. And the fear is always gonna be there to a certain extent. You have to almost take fear by the hand.

Take God by the hand, and God helps us. But but did you feel fear during that time? Because this was a huge transition getting out of you were speaking, you were a public speaker, you were an expert, you have your doctorate. You I mean, to give all of that up, wow. Yeah.

I mean, of course, I had fear. And, like, you know, I think about the fear that I had when I started. Like, I was terrified of being seen. Why? Because I didn't wanna be judged, and therefore Yep.

Yep. That's common for women. Yeah. Also, you know, was a chronic overachiever. Mhmm.

Allowed my achievements to be my worth. Right? So if I fail, then that meant that I was a failure. Right? Yeah.

Yep. Gosh, guys. And, like, as I mean, I do anesthesia for a living, so I'm literally trained to be a perfectionist. And and there are no mistakes because somebody could die. And so, like, I had to allow myself to let go of and shed parts of myself, even the ones that had led to success in my professional life.

Right? Like even the things that have gotten me to where I was, I had to be willing to set those down. That was really scary in itself. Right? And I think that, like, going back to even when I started, one of the biggest things that I learned in all of this is that success and confidence confidence does not come first in success.

It literally starts with the action. The action is what gives you a little bit of a realization, like, holy crap. I didn't die. Nobody friended me. I didn't spontaneously combust.

I still have friends and family. Like, okay. I'm alright. And then I lean in and I do it again. And then, like, oh my god.

I didn't die on that one either. Like, Mhmm. And then I do it again. And I literally, by putting myself into the direct line of rejection, it works me to recognize that I was catastrophizing it. I was making it a bigger deal than what it was.

And doing it allowed me to say, okay, like you got this. It's okay. And then I could take next bigger, braver steps as I went. But I if you wait for yourself to be perfect, confident, have everything right, you're going to be continuing to wait. And that confidence is never gonna happen.

You have to take action first, and that's what happens. But I will be honest with you, girlfriend, like the higher the level, the bigger the devil. And the more success that you get, you don't get rid of all of those fears. You don't get rid of the insecurities. You literally just learn to pivot faster, to recognize it faster, to handle it in a different way.

And one of the things that I think a lot of people think about is they think that we have a problem and we break through that problem. And now we're good for the rest of our lives, where in reality is almost like an upward spiral. So I'm going to go with the upward spiral of success. And each time I go around that ring, I'm gonna come across that same fear that I had. But this time, I'm gonna be equipped because of past experiences.

This time, I'm gonna see it differently. This time, I'm gonna recognize it faster. This time, I'm going to be able to handle it in a more healthy way. And then the next time that I go around that's that upward spiral and I see that same fear come up again, same deal. I now I have another level of perspective.

I have another layer of maturity. I have another layer of experience that allows it to be diminished. But if you think that your fear is going to completely go away, you're misleading yourself. It's just going to take on a different hat, especially when you are stepping into your divine purpose. The enemy is going to do everything he can to knock you off course, he's going to help to, to succumb to perfectionism, to overthinking, to confusion, to lack of motivation.

He's going to trick you into thinking that there's something wrong with you. If you keep bumping up against these core wounds or these fears. And what you need to do is look yourself in the eye and be like, you got this, and then you shout out to the enemy. Like, you are not welcome here. Get behind me.

I am on my way to fulfilling my purpose. And so when I say each level has a new devil or it wears a different hat, I think about I wanted to leave my full time career a lot sooner than I did, a lot sooner than I did. I had to leave a a multiple six figure income, and I was a breadwinner. You know, my husband's a teacher. Teachers don't get paid what they should.

Right? And so that was a really, really big scary thing that I had to do. And I think that, you know, overcoming fear happens because we take our past experiences, just like I've just mentioned, and we build upon them and we prove to ourselves that we're capable of of challenging things, but we also cannot always expect ourselves to do it on our own. I had to ask the Lord for help. Yeah.

And sometimes he puts things in our lives, in our paths to help get our attention. Yes. He did with my eyes. Right? So, like, that day he put me in emotion.

He got my attention, even though it had been there for a long time. And so for me, what happened was I had a door closed and a door open. So here's an example. I remember sitting at work and I was reflecting on the fact that I had just won this international leadership award and the award ceremony was in London and I couldn't get the time off to go. And the people that were putting on the organization said, you know what, LaShelle?

Like, you can accept your award over Zoom. No problem. And I got a sparkly dress, and I was all ready to go. Could not get the day off. Wow.

If If I could have been done with my Workday by 1 o'clock, I could have gotten home in time. And they said, I'm sorry. And I ended up by the skin of my teeth, being able to get home just in time to like slap my dress on and accept my award. Wow. It really just tore me up.

And, you know, fast forward a couple of, of months, and here I am sitting at work and we are about to put in our vacation request for the year and a half in advance because, you know, medicine is struggling right now as a lot of professions are like we're running, you know, really tight staff, and it was very hard for them to give us time off. And so here I am, like, without any opportunity to take a single day of vacation, it's 1 week at a time. You get 5 minutes to put in your request, and you may or may not get it for a year and a half in advance. And I just remember, like, having this realization that if I don't do something different, that leadership award day is going to continue to repeat itself. And I have 10 years before I'm eligible to retire with benefits.

And there is no way in hell that I'm gonna be able to keep doing this and fulfill God's calling on my life if this is where I stay. And so I have an moment, this conviction. Right? So in my book, I actually talk about this, how this is a very uniform pattern that I've see over and over again in success. We recognize the desire.

We make the decision to figure it out, to do something about it. We make the decision to own it. We make the decision, like, burning the boats decision. And then we do. We get into action.

We implement what we say we're gonna do. And this was, like, my defining moment, my burn the boats moment where, like, I gotta figure this out. God allowed things then to trickle in a way that made things obvious. And we can ask him for help with that. We can say, Lord, please open doors and close doors.

Please make it so obvious that I do not have any doubt that this is where you want me to go. Because up to this point, I was doing all of the safe ways to come up with a solution. I was on committees to try to come up with a better vacation policy. I was recruiting for the hospital to try to bring in more staff so we were better staff to allow for more vacation time. I had been on a list to drop my time at the hospital for, like, years and was doing everything that I could the right way, and things weren't budging.

And I finally, after that moment, I went and talked to HR and I just said, you know, this is a situation I've been on this list to drop my time, but for literally, like, a decade. And I'm wondering if there's anything you can do to help. And they came they were very sympathetic, and they came back to me. They're like, Lishelle, I'm so sorry, but there's nothing we can do. And so I'm like, alright.

And it was literally that, like, within days that I was talking to a friend, and she's like, you realize that small hospitals could really use help. Have you considered looking into that? I'm like, I've never thought about it. So I went on this website. It just so happened, Christina, that my hometown was looking for extra help.

They were paying 3 times what I was making in my full time career, and I could tell them when I would work. Wow. You know what phrase is coming into my mind right now? Let go, let God. I can entirely relate to this.

We scramble around as human beings trying to find our human solutions, and we bang our head against the wall. And then at some point, sometimes we let go and let God. And what that looks like for me, and it sounds like it looks the same way for you, is I will literally do a prayer and demand God to help me. And, you know, the answer to that prayer will come in a 1,000 different ways. Like what you said for you, The very beginning of it had to do with skin care.

Now what you're doing isn't skin care. It's just it's so fascinating. But Yeah. You know, I I have had this happen time and time again where the right person or the right situation after I finally have been banging my head against the wall Yeah. You know, trying to do it on my own, and I just let go and let God, and I say a prayer.

You know? And people out there, my listeners, I know we all do this differently. You know? It could just be however you wanna do it, but literally, like, let go. And let the let God, let the universe, you know, you know, that that is just beautifully said.

Beautifully said. And and and I will tell you guys, like, I was really struggling. And I think a lot of the things I struggled with is that my sweet husband is such a, like, he values stability so much. And I think that if I was, you know, young and single, I would have been, you know, Gonzo way before I did, but I had a responsibility and, you need my partner to be on board. And when he said, go for it.

That was like the miracle of all miracles. And I'm like, for it. And now I, I helped that hospital out about 1 week a month, just because I love doing anesthesia, but it's my business and my consulting firm is my passion. It's what I am lighting up about. And all of those tiny steps, guys, like that's just it.

The Lord does not show us the top of the mountain on purpose. Yes. He told us the next step, like, we have a light at the bottom or at the the toe of our foot. Like, they're just Absolutely. So I would have never have guessed that learning how to wash my face, talking about it, facing rejection on purpose was gonna lead me to the business skills to allow me to then start my own business consulting firm and my coaching that allow me to help other people step into what their divine calling is and to do it with success.

Right? And I think that so often, we think that we have to know all of the steps, but really, it's just leaning into that next step and then just watching it unfold. And I think that it's our longing for control that holds us back from that as if we humans have a better plan than God does. And I think that we also fear that his plan for us is going to take us to a place that involves suffering. I think a lot of us in the church can look at Paul's story and just have this, like, subconscious belief that perhaps if we learn to trust him, he's gonna take us through a lot of suffering.

And I believe with all my heart that if God has put a desire on your heart to show up big, to show up better, to make a bigger impact in the world, to be able to live like no one else, that you can give like no one else. That desire on your heart is from him. That was Paul's journey, but your journey may be different. And if he's putting that on your heart, you're my friends, you need to lean into that because that is what he's calling you to do. And he doesn't show us the whole journey because we're gonna start on our path.

And if we look and we see the whole journey ahead of us, and we see all the the dips in the road and the valleys and and how steep the the mountain is, we're gonna say no. Thanks. But he allows us to have tiny step, the next tiny step. Man, that that's how it was when I built my podcast too. I could only see the next step ahead of me.

And for me, if God had shown me where I'd be today, top 2a half percent globally, bringing on big, big names in the next few months, already signed up, ready to go, I that would have been overwhelming to me. So it's okay to not know just the to only know the next step of your journey. And the other thing I just wanted to interject about you, Lishelle, is I think that's amazing and wonderful that you still have your toe in anesthesiology because you are such an expert, and you do that once a week because you're showing up as a new kinda leader, you know, on that in that hospital. And I think that's amazing. It's beautiful.

You know, it's it's on my terms, and I get to come and go if I want to or I not. And it's a very impoverished I think my 1st week that I was there, they they spoke 7 different languages, very rural community that needs a lot of extra TLC. And it's interesting. I can't even believe that I'm putting this together right now, but when I was envisioning my business, I envisioned myself doing anesthesia for missions. But you are, you are.

And just, yeah, you got together and it's like crap. Like, this is all because the Lord also gave me those skills. Yep. And so what that did was it allowed my husband to have that little bit of a safety net. Like, LaShelle, I know that if you needed to pick up in a, you know, a couple extra days there, like, I will feel safe.

So I did it for him. But I'm seeing even now in our conversation how all of those things play into what God had put on my heart long ago for the desires that that he wanted for me. Absolutely. Yeah. And I wanted I really wanted to interject also.

Yeah. Like, I think people think, oh, I wanna serve God. Therefore, I have to go abroad. I have to go to Africa. And you know what?

We can be missionaries right here. Like, it's just so beautiful to me that, you know, a part of your work life includes showing up for people who really need you and being that beautiful example. That's you being a missionary. You are a missionary. It's beautiful.

Really fun. And, you know, you've mentioned, you know, a few minutes ago about the quantum physics. And I want to just bring in that there is a law of sacrifice that I think I'll, I want to just lean into this you guys, because the law of sacrifice says that we have to give up something of a lesser vibration to be able to accept something of a higher vibration. What that means is that so often we hold on with 2 tight clenched fists to everything that we know, everything that's safe. And I I jokingly say that fine, f I n e, is my least favorite four letter f word because I think that we hold on to fine because it's all we know.

But in reality, God is asking us to unclench our fists, open our palms, and accept the better that He has in store for us. That is giving up control. That is trusting that when we give up the good, we will receive the great. I love this. Wow.

Scary. And that's where the faith comes in. And so when you said, let go of let God, I literally want you guys to imagine, like, close your eyes and imagine that you are holding on tight with your fist like you are white knuckling it. You're hanging on. And I want you to imagine that the Lord is saying to you right now, look all around you.

Everything that you've ever wanted, all of the abundance that I have in plan for you is right here. All you need to do is set down what you know and open up your palms to receive everything that I'm trying to give you. I love it. That is oh my God, guys. That's let go and let God.

Amen. Yeah. That's amazing. I do really want to ask you because in your book Yeah. You talk about the victim cycle.

I really want you to talk about that a little bit. Oh my gosh. That is one of my favorite things to say, and that's actually one of the reasons that I started the podcast because I recognize that in all my nerdiness and all of the podcasts that I do and all of the books I've read and conversations that I have had over the years, there's one common thread that I've noticed in every single one of these stories. And it's that successful people. And I I'm gonna define success as someone who would consider their life well lived.

K? So it doesn't have to be a $1,000,000 business. It doesn't have to be a Nobel Prize, you know, recipient. It's what you would view as I live a well lived life. It's that those people do not allow themselves to stay victim to the circumstances.

They figure out a way to rise above it. We all succumb to things. Every single one of us has wrap that tries to hold us back. And it might be really big stuff. It might be that you had a child diagnosed with cancer.

Maybe you lost your parents when you were young. Maybe you were raped. Maybe a tornado whipped through your town and it took out your home and your business. Maybe it's just that you have lived your whole life playing small. Maybe it's just that you have been poor and now you don't, you feel like a fish out of the water.

Maybe it's that your parents can never afford to send you to college. It doesn't matter what you've gone through, but we all have the responsibility to choose to rise above it. And when we stay stuck, we stay in the in the line of blame and victimization. And what that does is it keeps us into the cycle of more blame and more victimization. And we will find people that tie into our victim story.

We will find people that will validate those feelings, and all they do is literally jump in the quicksand with us, and we stay there. When reality, the moment that you decide that you are 100% responsible for your life, not what has happened to you, but what you do with it, then you choose to rise above that line. You choose to say, I am not a victim. I am a victor, and I am going to own whatever responsibility I have in this situation. I am willing to open myself up to solutions and I'm willing to execute.

And that my friends is instead of this, like, never ending cycle of blame and victimization, it's literally a stair step to success. I see it. I own it. I solve it, and I do it. And that will get you out of where you are 100%, but it starts with the choice.

You have to choose. I can choose to to surround myself with people who are gonna make me continue to feel like I'm a victim, or I can choose to reach out to my person that I know was gonna call me out on my crap. Right? I can choose to learn what I need to learn. I can choose to meet who I need to meet.

I can choose to figure it out, or I can choose to make excuses. But the choice is ours, and the Lord has given us all one single superpower that we underestimate, and that is our free will. You have the superpower to choose every single moment. If you don't like your results, you can choose again. If you don't like your feelings, you choose again.

You don't like the way you're thinking, you choose again. You get to choose again, so choose wisely. LaChelle, you are such a gift to this world. This all ties into what we were just talking about, but I just hope everybody runs out and buys your book. Another thing that you've noticed in all success stories that you mentioned in your book are three things, The 3 d's, desire, decide, do.

We just talked about it, but I just kinda wanted to, like, make it real succinct and say, you wanna know more about this? It's in your book. Thank you. Yeah. I mean, that's everything that I do follows those simple pathways.

It's literally if we can recognize, Christina, that the Lord is the one that's putting these desires in our heart, it is not for us to judge. It is for us to lean in with curiosity. I wonder what that's about. And just trust that he's going to take us to where we're supposed to go. Then the next thing is that deciding.

It's literally owning it. This is not a wishy washy, maybe I will try this. I would love to have that, but I can't kind of thing. This is a I'm going to figure it out. I'm going to do it.

It's a conviction. It's a declaration. There was the before and an after kind of state of, of being in which you're so determined because there are no other options. That is what I want for you guys. Because once you do that, you're less likely to succumb to the fear.

You're less likely to succumb to the lack of motivation. You're less likely to succumb to your ill equipped money mindset or your fear of perfectionism or your fear of being seen or the confusion that can get in your way. When you make the decision, then you can get into solution orientation. It's not a how am I gonna do this? It's a what can I do?

Yes. Right? And then the last one is the doing. You have to get into action. You have to implement what you said you're gonna do.

And it's something as simple as you guys listen to me because it's so freaking simple. I said it. I did it. I said it. I did it.

I said it. I did it. When you are setting yourself up, I want you to choose goal that you will be able to follow through 100%. So if you can promise yourself that you're gonna work out for 5 minutes a day because that's doable, I said it. I did it.

If you say I'm gonna work out for an hour a day, there's no way you're gonna, you know, start a workout routine and be able to keep up with that. So what happens is when you break promises to yourself, you lose trust with yourself. When you lose trust with yourself, you hold yourself in lower esteem. Therefore, your self esteem is impacted. And that's why you become more susceptible to this isn't for me.

I don't know what I was thinking. Who do I think I was? You know, I suck blah blah blah. If you can do something as simple as setting your goals small enough that you can 100% of the time make your promise and keep it, you will start to build trust with yourself. You will start to build esteem with yourself.

You will start to identify yourself as the person who can make it happen. And so doing the things that you said you were gonna do is going to allow a ripple effect in the confidence that you might have lacked from the beginning just by simply following through with what you said you were gonna do. So good. Okay. We're gonna unpack one more concept, and then we're gonna play my fun word game, which is gonna be amazing doing that with you.

So in your book, you talk about there's a difference between I need and I'm ready. Needing, that's something that it gives off a desperate energy and implies that everything you long for is outside of you and outside of your control, it leaves you feeling powerless. Readiness is a state of being. Now I'm just gonna let you take it from here because I just think you have so much wisdom in this topic. You know, that just like it came to me and I'll tell you the honest truth.

I think I had posted something that was like inviting people to do something. And I think a couple people have said, oh my gosh, I need this. Okay. And it was like this God drop in my heart that said, hold tight. We need to explore this a little bit because when we need something, it literally exudes a desperate energy.

Yes. It's like I'm desperate to get this to happen Yeah. But it's outside of you. It's like you're longing for something that somebody else is controlling, and you're lacking something. It's a scarcity.

I'm missing something. But there's a when I have clients that come to me, and I there's a reason that I have people apply to work with me because I wanna make sure that they're ready. A readiness is a demonstration that they have at least been introduced to that deciding segment of the three things. Because once you decide, that means that, like, you are ready to freaking get uncomfortable. You're ready to figure it out.

You're ready to get solution oriented instead of excuses oriented. You are ready to meet the demands and the challenges because it just has to happen, but you're in control. You're finding the solutions. You're owning that power, And there's a difference in that. And so I wanna just ask you guys, like, if there's something in your life that you're not loving, is it that you need it or that you're ready for it?

And this is something that I teach because I literally help people build businesses. When I think about my ideal client, they have to be someone who not only has the problem myself, they have to want to change. Right? Yep. Absolutely.

When I was back in the world of selling skincare, if I wasn't working with someone who was ready to wash their face, I don't care how much amazing this, my product can get them. If they're not willing to wash their face, I can't help them. So if they come up to me like, oh, I have so many wrinkles, but I don't wanna wash my face. Then you're not ready, sister. You know what I'm saying?

And so it literally just has to be the state of being. And that's why I want all of you guys to go back again to that superpower of free will, that superpower of choice. Am I looking for solutions, or am I looking for excuses? I really need this program, but I don't have the time. But I don't have the money.

But I'm not ready. Those buts tell me that you're in the needing and not in the ready. Because if you're like, I really want this program, and I am going to find the funds, and I'm gonna sell these things, and I'm gonna take out a business credit, and I'm gonna figure out how I can get up early to get this done. Buts or and, which one of those are you gonna step into? And we didn't get into this, but I I feel Christina led to go here.

If you're I'm always open. I'm always ready. The book, I talk about this a lot in early in the book because it's so woven into everything that I do. You guys are probably recognizing if hearing me that I am talking with high energy. I am talking probably even faster than what I should, but it's because I am on fire in my happy purpose driven place.

Okay? I'm gonna get into a little bit of quantum physics if you're cool with that. Yes. Love it. Love it.

Love it. I love just, like, bringing everything full circle with scripture. Okay. So when Jesus told us with the Lord's Prayer, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, what He is telling us is that His will and us experiencing heaven can happen still while we're living here in the sun. Amen, sister.

Totally agree. Like to experience heaven on earth. But the way that we do that is we have to be able to get our soul, our spirit in alignment with the Lord so that we can be led to experiences that are consistent with heaven and earth. Okay? So bringing it back to science.

All of us, you might remember this in 7th grade, so get out your, you know, cobweb clear. But all of us, everything in this universe that the Lord has made is made up of atoms. The smallest unit of matter. Right? The atoms include these tiny little electrons that rotate around it.

We measure how fast those electrons are rotating or moving with something called frequency. The higher the frequency, the faster the electrons are rotating. The lower the frequency, the slower they are rotating. K? When scientists this is scientifically based.

This is freaking fascinating. When scientists have been able to measure the frequency of the movement or how fast our electrons are rotating when we feel certain emotions. Right? Like mind blow. So when I am feeling feelings of love, joy, peace, gratitude, freedom, my electrons are rotating super fast.

My frequency is higher, faster. When I experience emotions that are consistent with guilt, shame, hopelessness, sadness, depression. Notice not only that I talked slower and my voice was lower, it's because my electrons are literally rotating slower. The Lord vibrates at a higher frequency than we do in this fallen world. We want to be around him.

We want to be in his presence more. We will be in states of love, joy, appreciation, and freedom. And when you can deep yourself into those spaces, he can drop things on your heart. You can feel him, and you can experience his his beautiful whispers, confidence in your discernment because you are literally getting yourself closer to him. And so when it goes back to the victim cycle, that tells me that I am vibrating lower.

I'm getting further away from him. That's not where he wants me to be. He doesn't want me to be stuck in shame and guilt because he died for our sins already. So what should that do if we're gonna stay in guilt and shame? The more that we succumb to those feelings, the further away we are getting from him.

The more we can just accept that we are the daughters of the king, the more that we can accept that he loves us with all of his being, the more that we can be at peace and in gratitude for what we already have, the more he's going to send those things to us. Now this is another cool thing with quantum physics. There's something called entanglement. In the secular world, they talk about law of attraction. The law of attraction is misguided in the secular world because it appears like I'm in a giant vending machine and I'm seeing a God that I want a Ferrari and I want it to be in my driveway and then he just delivers.

And that's not how it works. Yeah. I'm so glad you're unpacking this, LaChelle, because I've had the same frustration with the law of attraction. Yeah. And so the Yeah.

Yeah. The law of attraction in the secular world is making an assumption that the universe is just gonna, like, send things to us when we know that the Lord is what created the universe. Now we have universal laws that govern because he is a God of order. But I pray to the Lord who created the laws of order. Right?

And so what's really cool is that when I am in my spirit because of my emotions are vibrating at a faster rate, there's something called entanglement, where the electrons of other things, other thoughts, other people that are also vibrating at that same frequency, our electrons literally start to dance with each other, and they entangle. And so that's what the law of attraction means, is that you are literally entangling with electrons that are at the same frequency, which is why you go into a toxic work environment where everybody's gossiping and you start to get in a cranky mood because you are entangling with those electrons. But when you are in in an empowering, like, women's retreat and everybody's, like, I say, vibing high because that is actually a thing that the Lord has allowed for us to be able to to bring our emotions to a place where we get a chance to not only communicate with him and experience heaven on earth, but we also get a chance to intermix with other things that are of that frequency. And so if you're like, oh my gosh, I'm so stuck. Keep yourself into those higher frequencies, and I promise you, you guys, solutions, ideas, people that are vibrating at that level will start to come into your focus.

Things your ideal client, if you're in business, already exists. She's already been born. She's walking this Earth. You just haven't entangled yet. Keep yourself up there so that the 2 of you can meet energetically, and you will discover things that have always been around you, but you weren't able to see them.

I totally agree. It's powerful. It's so powerful. I love it, Michelle. I love how you are just so gifted in breaking it down to make it really easy to understand and incorporate scripture with quantum physics.

It's just awesome. I love it. I feel like that my part of my triad, if, if it's okay that I just interject this real quickly, but brain science is another one of my pillars. And I wanna just give you guys this last thought here. I I talked a lot about feelings and allowing our feelings to dictate the frequency in which our electrons are vibrating and rotating.

What's really cool, and a lot of us don't realize, and this is so amazing because God says, do not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. He also tells us to hold all of our thoughts captive. K? Here's the coolest thing ever. Your thoughts are what create your emotions.

Your emotions are what create your actions, and your actions create your results. I'm gonna say that one more time. Your thoughts create your emotions, your feelings. Your feelings create your actions, what you do, and your actions are what lead to your results. If you do not like your feelings, you don't like your results, you don't like what you've been doing, it all comes back to the thought.

So when you can think about even if you feel like your emotions are running the show, if you can give yourself the opportunity to think even if it was a microsecond before, what was I just thinking before I felt that way? There will be a thought that preceded it, even if it escaped your consciousness. You can hold that thought captive, and you can challenge it, and you can say, I am gonna use my superpower free will to choose again. If I was not wanting to make that phone call because I'm like, this person isn't gonna want what I have anyway, that thought created that feeling, which is gonna hold me back from that action. Right?

But if I say, this person on the other end of this phone has literally been praying for me to come into their life. I am the manifestation of their law of attraction. I am the electrons that they have been trying to come into focus, and I am holding them back if I don't make this phone call. That thought creates a whole different feeling, which then will lead me to the action, which will get me to the result. So hold your thought captive.

Do not be conformed by the crappy belief system that you have had for so long, and be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you can step into the life that you want. And you guys, I believe with all my heart that if you're listening to this right now, the Lord is chasing you and he's asking you to take this in and he's asking you to step up and he's asking you to trust him because he wants to give you a life beyond what you know and what you've even asked for. Yes. Yes. Oh, Chel, you.

I know I keep saying it, but you are just such a light. You are a gift to this world. You just take these more complex, what could be complex subjects, but you make it really easy to understand. Thank you. Beautiful.

Beautiful. So we're we're gonna play our word game. I'm gonna reveal something to you and our listeners. Do you know what my first prompt was gonna be? But we we just covered it.

Be transformed by the renewal of your mind. That was the first one, but we just did it. We just did it. So we're gonna we're gonna move on. The way this game works is that I give you a word.

It might be also be a small phrase sometimes, like the one that I just did. And then you just tell me either a word or a phrase, or we can have a whole discussion about that word. So whatever comes to you is you know, and it's fun because all kinds of things can pop back that we just didn't expect. Right? So, your first is actually something from your book.

It's called and I want you to talk about it, the Oz Principle. Oh, yeah. We actually already discussed it a little bit. That's where we have this line of accountability. And below the line is that victim cycle, that blame game.

But above the line is when we see it, we see where we contribute to this. So even if, you know, you are a victim to something, there may be an opportunity for you to say, you know what? Like, I own this part of that. Right? So then we own it, and then we solve it.

We figure out what is solution, theft, and excuse, and then we do it. And that was one of my absolute favorite books, and that's where that came from. So. Great. Love it.

Your second word is authenticity because you had the courage to listen to God and that day, looking in the mirror. Yeah. So I wanna know your thoughts on authenticity. Yeah. I mean, I think that what I wanna say without that is that it's okay if it's a process for you.

I did not just wake up one day and decide like, I'm gonna be honest with you, Christina. That point in my life, I was 36 years old. As a 36 year old woman, I had never in my adult life left the house without makeup on. Wow. That's impressive.

He took me with baby steps to go to target without makeup on. Then I was able to get brave enough to post about my business on social media. And then I discovered that I didn't die. And then I got brave enough to talk about my business. And then I discovered it wasn't going to die.

And then I discovered that people actually are being helped by what I have to say. So that allowed me to lean in with a little more authenticity. And so I just want you to know that it's okay if it's a process for you, but I want you to continue to lean in and I want you to look at your journey, recognize the gains, not the gap from where you are to where you wanna be, but where you are from where you came from. And I want you to recognize each one of those tiny baby steps that have led you to the your level of authenticity and celebrate them and acknowledge them and be in gratitude for them and be excited for what's to come. It's just so interesting because I ask a lot of these words are to do with my podcast, and I don't know if I've ever had the same answer twice, and they're all so amazing.

They're just, you know, amazing helpful answers. So your next word is resilience. That is so good. Resilience is literally just making the decision to not give up. It's a decision.

It's a decree. It's a declaration. And knowing that it's okay to lean on the Lord to help you when it gets heavy and when it gets hard because this is the thing, guys. It will. I think one of the biggest traps that we have is comparing ourselves to other people and assuming that it's easy for everybody else, assuming that other people don't feel the same way we do.

When in reality, everybody is scared. Everybody has hard days. Everybody wants to give up. But what sets the people apart who do and don't is that they made the decision that they weren't, and they lean in to the things, the people, their higher power to make up for their own shortcomings because we're all human. Yep.

And I'd like to interject too. Sometimes it's it can even be a day or days, a few days where you feel like I'm a failure, and this is too hard. And I think that's really the biggest divider, in my opinion, is to either say, oh, since I'm feeling this way, I guess I'd better stop. Oh, yeah. And I have learned to be like, you can take a break, but you're gonna keep going.

Absolutely. And I think that, you know, going back to brain science, your subconscious and your viewpoints of how you fit in the world were formed mostly before you were 7 years old. So you might very well have this programming in the back of your subconscious mind that tells you that you're bothered, that tells you that you're not worthy, that tells you that you're not good enough. And what our brain does, what our subconscious does is it looks for validation in the outside world to prove that it's right. And those thoughts because they've been there for so long become the path of least resistance.

But you can, thanks to something called neuroplasticity, retrain your brain to have new pathways. How you do that is number 1, telling it what to do. So if I instead of saying I suck, if I start telling myself I am a strong, bold, confident powerhouse who's serving the Lord, then and I say that over and over and over again and I add repetition, and then I add emotion to it. Emotion. I was just gonna say you need to add the, the emotion.

Repetition are these 2 secret sauces that allow for those pathways to form faster. But you have to tell your brain what to repeat. And so if you're finding yourself getting into hard days, getting into the hard seasons, and you're letting those stupid negative Nelly repeat thoughts take over and and prevent you from feeling and then acting and having the results, you have to go back to what do I want my brain to tell me and to start taking control of that using brain science and create new pathways so that those become the default so that you're less susceptible to those hard days. Love it. Love it.

Love it. Okay. Your last word, LaChelle, is, of course, bravery. I love it. Okay.

So here's the deal, you guys. Like, if you wait until you're confident, you're never gonna start. If you wait until you're perfect, you're never gonna start. If you wait until you have all of the things figured out, if everything is set up just right, if you have all the information, you will not start. Somebody right now at this exact moment is praying for the exact thing that you can deliver.

Don't keep don't make it about you. You have to choose courage, 3 seconds of courage. You know, you're in the Mel Robbins right now. Like, 5 seconds of courage will get you into action, and that action will get you the confidence in the results. And so just lean in, you guys.

Lean in and trust. Trust, trust, trust that God, if he's calling you into it, he will equip you. I remember in the bible, he you know, Moses said, but but God but God like, he says but God several times in the same passage. But God, my brother Aaron is such a better speaker. Why don't you pick him?

Right? If he's calling you into it, he will equip you. Just trust that he will do that. Trust that you're going to build the muscle. You're going to build the skill.

You're going to build the confidence as you go. But if you wait until everything's perfect, you're not going to get results, and you're definitely not gonna serve the people who've been praying for your help. And so just take that brief moment of courage to lean you into where he's calling you. Love it. Alright, LaChelle.

All my listeners are gonna be clamoring for your information. So tell us again the title of your book. Tell us all about you. Tell us about your coaching. Tell my listeners how they can find you and connect with you.

Gosh. Thank you so much. I love this. Okay. So you guys, the book is called Get Out of God's Way.

It's get over yourself and step into the beautiful purpose he has for your life and your business. I wrote this book in 6 days because he put it on my heart, and he just downloaded it for me. So this book is a gift from him to you. I just happen to be the middle man. And so thank you in advance for leaning in and letting him speak to you through this avenue.

Right? I also have a workbook that I created so that you all can take your business besties or maybe a church small group and work through the process together. So I have a workbook that's available for free on my website. So feel free to head in there, and and I'll make sure that Christina has the links to that. And it's in the book.

It's easy to find in the book. As far as my coaching goes, so I am I kinda call it, like, let's kick the butt out of your business. It's all of the excuses. Like, let's come up with solutions. Let's get out of our own way.

Let's stop getting in God's way, really. It's where are we getting stuck. And so I help people everything from the strategy. I don't know what to do. I don't know where to start.

I don't know how to execute this. I don't know how to launch. I don't know how to make a website. I don't know how to do social media. I will help you with the strategy.

But I also will weave in quantum physics, scripture, and brain science that I can give you sustainable life change that is gonna get you faster success through mindset and toolset work that I give you as well. So if that's something that would bless you, if you're like, I am stuck, I would love to, you know, get my business off of the ground. I would love to scale my business so I can give more. I would love to be able to quit my job so I can lean into where God is calling me. Those are the people that I absolutely love to help because I believe that all of us have this innate inner amazingness that needs to be out in the world.

And if I can help people get out of their own way in order to make that happen, that is my gifting. So that's what I do. And then, of course, The Unstuck podcast is a great place to come if you're an entrepreneur and you're feeling stuck in business and you wanna hear some practical tools and some hope. That's where I'd love to meet you as well. So Awesome.

And I'm gonna have all of this and more, like, including your Instagram and or Facebook, your website. That those will all be in the show notes, but tell us your website real quick so people wanna jump on. Absolutely. So you can just go to lachelleweemie.com. So it's lachelleweemie.com.

And that's the easiest way. I brand myself everywhere as Lachelle Weymie. So on on all the social media, on my YouTube, on my website, everything. It's easy to find. So Lachelle, this has been an incredibly empowering conversation today.

Any last words? No. I just again, you guys, like, you're here at this exact moment here in these exact words because he's asking me to speak to your heart. So there's no more wishy washy, maybe I'll try. I want you to declare that today is the first day of the rest of your journey here, and you will not you will not bury your coins, you'll bury your talents.

You will be able to look the Lord in the eye someday and hear, well done, good and faithful servant because you used every ounce of talent and skill and experience that he gave you to make your life and the people around you better. Thank you so, so much, LaChelle. Thank you. I'm so grateful to be here, you guys. Seriously, like, I would love to hear from you.

Reach out to me. DM me. Tell me that you heard this podcast. Like, I wanna get to know you guys because you're my people. So let's let's, like, you know, make a community out of this.

Totally. Totally. Yeah. I'm I'm gonna be jumping on a plane in a in a minute here just to come see you in person. I know that.

So inspired. Yeah. So I I You're gonna have to figure out how to meet in person because I getting to where I can occasionally. Last night, I had dinner with a fellow podcaster who lives in Ohio who did a being part of a corporate retreat here in the Seattle area, and we had dinner. And it's so fun to connect in person.

Oh my gosh. Absolutely. You know, I feeling led to, to mention this, so, okay. So you guys, since Christina just mentioned this, I'm like, this is so premature, but I'm letting spirit guide me, which is what I encourage all you guys do. So I am in the process of, I haven't even announced it on any of my platforms yet.

So I want you guys to be the first to know, and this is going to be a life changer for whoever's being called to this, but I have an in person intimate retreat that's happening in September. Oh, my goodness. It's 10 people or less. It's very intimate. You get one on one time with me, but what I do is I integrate brain science, quantum physics, and scripture to help you step into her.

I help you become the person that is capable of stepping into where God is leading you. I help you to create the identity of who He is asking you to be and to give you the light tools that are going to allow you to sustain that outside of our center. Now this is the deal. I am choosing between right now because I haven't announced this in public. I'm choosing between a villa in Mexico or Costa Rica, private chef on the beach, 100% immersing ourself in our dream life.

If you feel led to make yourself see what you're capable of through an immersion experience, I want you to reach out to me personally because I wanna make sure that you're ready, just like we talked about. Right? Because this will be life changing. The people that went last year said that there was life before and life after, and that's what I expect this year even more. Wow.

Thank you so much for sharing, LaChelle. And thank you again. Thank you so much for being on my podcast today. I'm so grateful. Thank you.
