Overcome Limiting Beliefs and Unlock Flow State Success

with Niiamah Ashong and Dr. LaChelle Wieme

What if the only thing standing between you and the life you’re craving is a decision you keep postponing?

In my conversation on the Outlier’s Edge Podcast with Niiamah Ashong, I share what it really took for me to move past overthinking, let go of my big buts, and step into a life that feels aligned, purpose-driven, and wildly fulfilling. I open up about the fears, the doubts, and the internal tug-of-war that kept me stuck in a “fine” life for far too long, even when everything on paper looked successful.

I walk listeners through the moment I realized I was living in black and white when God was calling me into full color. That awakening led me to leave my award-winning career as a nurse anesthetist and embrace the spiritual alignment, intuitive decision-making, and personal healing that eventually became my Flow State Money Method. This episode is a beautiful mix of mindset, faith, humor, and truth, grounded in my belief that your next level requires both courage and coherence.

Throughout the conversation, Niiamah and I talk about the power of discernment, the importance of trusting your own inner guidance, and the massive shift that happens when you stop forcing success and start aligning with it. I share the exact framework I use to help women break free from fear, self-doubt, and decision paralysis so they can finally embody the version of themselves they know they’re meant to be.

Overcome Limiting Beliefs and Unlock Flow State Success with Niiamah Ashong and Dr. LaChelle Wieme

[00:00]
Niiamah opens the live roundtable by celebrating a new chapter for Outlier’s Edge. He shares his excitement about hosting the conversation in a more open, unpolished environment where people can witness the energy being created in real time. He introduces LaChelle and invites her to share the game she is playing in her life and business.

[01:09]
LaChelle explains that she spent years building a prestigious career as a doctor of nurse anesthesia. She checked every box of success, yet still felt like something was missing. In 2016 she stumbled into entrepreneurship through an online skincare business, even though she barely had time and never washed her face consistently. That unexpected decision awakened something in her. It showed her that life could be more colorful, fulfilling, and aligned than the one she had worked so hard to build.

[03:06]
Niiamah reflects on how quickly LaChelle said yes to going live. He introduces his concept of collapsing time and asks her to share more about how she made the decision to pursue something beyond an already good life.

[03:56]
LaChelle describes realizing that her dream career no longer felt like enough. She saw a glimpse of something better on the other side of entrepreneurship, even though she could not fully articulate it at first. She loved creating new streams of income and found purpose in helping others. But alongside that excitement came insecurity, fear, and the painful recognition that much of her overachievement was rooted in trying to prove her worth.

[06:40]
Niiamah relates deeply, noting how entrepreneurship forces insecurities into the light. He asks LaChelle to share the inner process she went through once her limiting beliefs surfaced.

[07:39]
LaChelle explains that she started her business with only two hundred Facebook friends and a fear of being seen. She had posted nothing vulnerable before, yet entrepreneurship pushed her to show up. Every time she shared something online, she expected judgment or rejection. Instead, she discovered she was capable of hard things. Her confidence grew, and she realized other people struggled with the same fears. This became the spark that led her to shift into coaching and mindset work.

[11:18]
Niiamah notices how alive and aligned LaChelle seems. He invites her to deepen the conversation around mindset, embodiment, and spiritual connection.

[12:43]
LaChelle shares a story about a teammate asking how she could support her family time more fully. This triggered an old belief that ease equals laziness. She admits she still has to catch herself when things feel too easy. Embodiment means living what she teaches, adjusting her own mindset, and having compassion for the human fears that still arise.

[15:39]
The conversation shifts to the core methodology behind LaChelle’s work. She introduces the Flow State Money Method, explaining that people have long believed thoughts create feelings. Research now shows the heart influences the brain far more powerfully than the reverse. Regulating the nervous system creates coherence, clarity, creativity, and intuitive guidance.

[17:40]
She outlines the next steps of her process: shifting toxic thought patterns and identifying the big buts that keep people stuck. She describes discernment as the ability to hear inner guidance, trust it, and take aligned action. One aligned step is more powerful than a thousand forced ones. From there comes implementation, automation, and systems that support consistent follow-through.

[20:41]
Niiamah invites listeners to check in with themselves. He reminds them this is not just information but an invitation to embodiment. He asks LaChelle if she wants to add anything before moving on.

[21:26]
LaChelle shares the seven core blocks that keep people from making aligned decisions: forgetting they have a choice, lacking clarity about their uniqueness, ignoring intuition, doubting themselves, avoiding courage, struggling with consistency, and losing sight of the deeper why. She expands on each of these pillars and how they support emotional resilience and long-term momentum.

[24:11]
At Niiamah’s request, she lists the seven pillars again: choice, clarity, connection to spirit, confidence, courage, consistency, and conquer.

[26:44]
The conversation turns to the difference between amateurs and pros. For LaChelle, the shift happened the day she quit her job. She was the breadwinner of a household with a teacher husband, yet she chose to trust the calling that would let her build a life aligned with her purpose. This decision created a cascade of aligned opportunities.

[29:13]
She recounts receiving an international leadership award and being unable to attend the ceremony in London because her hospital would not give her the afternoon off. This was a pivotal moment. She realized she could not keep living a life where institutional limitations dictated her destiny. When a friend suggested working small hospital shifts on weekends, a new pathway emerged. One empowered choice led to the next breadcrumb.

[31:57]
Niiamah reflects on how LaChelle remained true to herself instead of sacrificing her identity to make the leap. She validates his insight, explaining how many women find resourceful ways to transition without abandoning their skills or values.

[34:14]
She expands on the law of vibration and explains how staying in blame or discouragement keeps people energetically aligned with more of the same. Shifting into empowerment elevates their frequency and brings in new solutions, ideas, and aligned opportunities.

[36:03]
Niiamah shares how his own vibrational frequency shifted after returning to qigong and spiritual practices. That shift sparked the clarity that led him to stream the episode live. LaChelle acknowledges that he is practicing exactly what she teaches.

[39:06]
LaChelle reveals that she feels called into a larger movement for 2025. She reflects on how every aligned yes has brought her closer to the work she was truly meant to do.

[41:04]
When asked about the shift from pro to all star, LaChelle explains that she initially fell back into overachiever patterns. She chased every strategy and every guru, burning herself out while trying to force success. When she began integrating spiritual alignment, brain science, and quantum principles, everything changed. One aligned step became more powerful than a hundred hustled ones. This was the shift that called her into leadership and movement building.

[44:42]
Niiamah affirms her alignment and integrity. They close the conversation with gratitude and encouragement, inviting listeners to share the episode intentionally with someone who needs it.

[47:17]
LaChelle shares where people can find her online and reflects on how deeply aligned the conversation felt. She leaves feeling affirmed, energized, and clear that it is time to step forward into the movement she has been shown.
